I can hardly believe that 2013 is almost here!  We wish everybody a safe and Happy New Year!  Hope 2013 is the best year yet!

P.S.  I've taken a little break b/c of our move and having a baby, but be ready for spring!  Lots of weddings...I can hardly wait!

Just wanted to wish everybody a Merry Christmas!

We're very excited to introduce you to our new little boy, John Emerson Trust, aka Johnny.  What a joy he has brought to our lives in just one short week!  

It was really hard to imagine how we could love another little boy as much as we love our Jake, but the minute he was born, that all changed and we were instantly in love with him.   He truly is a blessing.

Big brother Jake is adjusting quite well except for the fact that he doesn't want to really touch him or go near him.....although he wants to know what baby Johnny is doing at all times.  One night he did lay down on the floor with Johnny and show him his woowoo's....HUGE step for Jake!

So, today was the first day that Jake, Johnny and mommy were all by ourselves...and thus far, success!  I'm even writing a blog post if that tells you anything.  My parents helped out so much, and we can't thank them enough.  Sadly, they went back to Ohio yesterday, and we were very sad to say goodbye to them.  In fact, Jake keeps asking about them and says he "misses them a wot"!  We're so thankful that they were able to be here along with my sister, niece and nephew for the birth of Johnny...can't even imagine what we'd do without all of them.  

Hope everybody has a Merry Christmas!  We are looking forward to spending Christmas as a family of four in our new home in Illinois!

I just wanted to wish my dad a Happy, Happy Birthday tomorrow!  We wish we could be there to celebrate with him, but we were lucky enough to have some birthday cake with him this past Monday!  I can't even imagine what I'd do without him....he is the best dad without a doubt, and I owe him so much for all the help and work that he did for us this past week for our move (and my mom gets a shout out too for all the help)!  We love you dad, and hope you have the best birthday!!

If you can't tell, Jakey loves his Papa!  He's asked everyday this week if NanaPapa were coming to our new home when daddy got home from work, too!

And one more favorite from this week....Jakey and his best bud, Dexter!  Love those two!
