Happy Halloween weekend, everybody!   We've had a great weekend in Rochester thus far!  My niece, nephew and sister came to visit, and we had a Star Wars Trio photo shoot this afternoon.  Last year, Jack, Julia and Jake dressed up as superheroes, and my mom used that photo for her holiday card.  This year we wanted to surprise her with the a new theme - Star Wars.  So, for all of you that receive a holiday card from my parents, you know what it will look like this year!  (and in case you're wondering...last year's photo shoot with the 3 J's was also 100x easier  because Jake wasn't even crawling at the time)  This year was a different story......he barely stood still for even a second, and we had to bribe him with M&M's!

After the photo shoot, we packed into the car and went down to the National Museum of Play.   They were having a special Halloween party there.  The kids had the best time...they got to make some crafts, get some tattoos, play on the exhibits, and they even got a little bit of candy!!  We can't wait to go back!

Happy New Year: 2011 ...a few days late! | Julie Marie Portraits

WOW....I can hardly believe that it's 2011!  What a year 2010 was!  I know I've been a bad blogger lately, so I wanted to get a post up.  I have taken some time off to spend with my family, and I will be back in full swing shortly!  Look for some exciting things to come with Julie Marie Portraits in 2011!  Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for a wonderful 2010, and here's to a great 2011!  I look forward to seeing you all again in 2011 and meeting new clients!

And b/c you can't do a post without a picture, here's my little sweetie that turned 9 months on New Year's Day...my oh my....he's growing up way too fast!

A New Addition to the "J" Family | Julie Marie Portraits | Ohio Photographer

This family was one of my first clients.....I think they are the cutest little guys ever, and now they have a new addition....a baby brother who's just as cute!! They're good friends with my sister's family, and since I know them, I made mom and dad leave the room, and we had some fun getting some photos! Thanks, "J" family! Hope you enjoy!

Double the Fun in Ocean City....Julie Marie Portraits, Ocean City, MD Photographer

Most of you know that I have an identical twin sister, so when this mom emailed me and asked me to do photographs of her little 3.5yr old little twin guys, I couldn't wait! Meet T & T....both super cute and so much fun and boy do they look alike! You can tell them apart, but it was definitely hard remembering which one was which! :) Anyway, they were going to be vacationing in Ocean City, MD, so mom asked if I would be interested in doing photos there. She also mentioned that one of the little guys probably wouldn't look at the camera....but I think Mom will be happy with what she sees below! Thanks, guys! It was great meeting all of you and hope you enjoy your sneak peeks and the rest of your vacation!

For this last one, mom had mentioned that she would like to get some of T showing off his scars and what he had been through in his first 3.5 yrs of life......3 surgeries, but I think they're done and no more surgeries! He is one little brave guy!

These next two kiddos are my bf's kids! Miss E is 3 going on 13 and what a hoot she is! Mr. G man is around 8 months old and just the sweetest little guy ever! Since they were up visiting for my bridal shower, I, of course, had to get a few shots of them, too!




Miss E was into sticking out her tongue.....she is just so much fun!
