Class of 2010.....Meet Miss A...Julie Marie Portraits, Delaware High School Senior Photographer

Ok...I feel really old writing the class of 2010....I'm thinking WOW...I graduated both high school & college in the 90's.
Anyway, I had the pleasure of meeting up with A to try some fun things for her senior pictures. She has the most gorgeous eyes, and she is quite stunning as you will see in the pix below. (Don't you think she looks like a model!!!)
The rain put a damper on some plans, but she was great and we checked out a park in Dover.....glad we stopped in there because it made for some great pictures! Thanks A....here's your sneak peek: (sorry...i'm posting a lot but I had so many that I just love)

Well, I'm back from my short trip to Ohio. I had the best time, and was sad to leave but glad to get back and see J & Dexter!
I'm playing catch-up from all of my Ohio sessions, but I had to share a couple of pix. This first set was taken of my nephew and Miss E riding the JD Gator. J loves this thing and on Saturday, they talked me into going outside with them so they could ride on it. Miss E was quite ok being the passenger which was a good thing b/c at one point, J did let her drive and she's just like her momma --- horrible at driving. She was too busy talking to J and myself and wasn't watching where she was going. As you can see by her little expressions, she was loving it. J, on the other hand, takes driving the gator very seriously, and his little facial expressions show that, too!

Oh, and I had to share a picture that I received in the mail today from J's grandma, Nan. He is around 5 months old (in 1972)....what a cutie! I ordered a larger picture of this for in the house, and I'm sure J will be thrilled with it!

Meet L....he is my good friend's little guy, and he's turning 1 in a couple of weeks! His mom and I grew up one house apart and his mom, my sister and I were inseparable. Well, anyway, they came to Toledo today for my bridal shower, so I had to grab a few shots of him. He's such a little cutie and his little smile says it all!

One word...ADORABLE! I had the pleasure of photographing Miss A and her handsome brother, W. W is such a cutie and such a great big brother! Miss A was just as sweet as could be! I could have sat there all day long just holding her!

Blogger Vacation....Julie Marie Portraits, Delaware Portrait Photographer

I wanted to let all my blog followers know that I'm going to be on "blogger" vacation. Actually, that would be considered an Ohio visit. You might get a sneak peak while I'm gone, but it looks like you'll likely just need to keep checking in to see if there are any new posts. :) Once I'm back, look for some exciting things happening with Julie Marie Portraits!

Of course, I had to share a picture of Dexter playing with his frisbee....Actually, as soon as he goes outside, he runs for his frisbee (or any toy rather) and comes running back for you to play tug of war with him.

J & I just received some fun gifts from Crate and Barrel. I just love that store, and I miss being able to run to Somerset Mall to shop there whenever I wanted to! There's not a lot of shopping right here in Dover (Ok, maybe one boutique that is great -- it's Bel Boutique and look for more to come from this great boutique!) , but luckly we have online shopping!!! So, anyway, I just wanted to show you the gift that we received today.... I'm looking forward to using this out at the pool! (it's all acrylic except for the ice bucket)

This morning after we got up, I wondered why Dexter went back upstairs... So, I went upstairs and this is where I found him: He was in one of the guest bedrooms lying on the bed. What was he doing up there? Watching the kiddos standing outside waiting for the school bus to pick them up.

Our good friends, K & S, came in for the weekend from DC. (remember K from a few weeks ago when I went to visit her in DC) There was a location that I had wanted to try out for some pictures, and K talked S into letting me get some fun shots of the two of them. I love the pictures of these two, and what makes them even that more special is because only a few months ago, S got really sick and underwent open heart surgery and had a valve replaced. They've been through a lot in their first year of marriage, but they're both so strong and two incredible people! Thanks K&S -- we had the best time with you guys and can't wait to see you again soon!
