And a few of my little man who turned 17 months on Thursday.  We celebrated by eating lots of popsicles, singing and dancing!

Hi Everybody!  I apologize for the lapse in blog posts, but I wanted to let y'all know that it's because of vacation and traveling and just being plain busy!!  I promise to come back in August with lots of blog posts for y'all to see what we've been up to!  I have lots of beach sessions, Ohio sessions, friend's photos & weddings to blog.  Until then.....I will leave you with this fun session....don't y'all just LOVE summer vacation at the beach!

 Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful father's out there!  

I flew back from Maine super early this morning, and when I got home, we packed up and went to the beach!  (We did this exact thing last year on Father's day!)  We had the best time, and lucky for us, there were some wind surfers that kept Jakey quite occupied!  The only thing missing was having my dad here with us, but at least we did get to talk to him since he's in Ohio.

My family came in from Ohio last week, and we had the best time ever! The kiddos swam a ton and we got to get some shopping in and hit the beach. What more could you ask for!! :) This morning, though, was super sad....I hated to see my sister and her family leave....especially my niece and nephew. They are just too much fun, and you just can't get enough of them!! Of course there were tears this morning and my nephew would ask me if I was going to cry when they left...and of course, I said yes. I asked him if he was going to cry and he said..."um, maybe just a wittle!!" :)

Anyways, my mom wanted to get some family pictures done, so we went over to the beach. Of course, when we got there, it started to rain....but luckily, it cleared up enough to get some photos.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this great family at Bethany Beach. This was my first visit to Bethany Beach, and I loved it!! So, anyway, back to this family. They have 3 great kiddos who were so much fun for the entire session. We met out on the boardwalk and then walked down to the beach...

Meet the "S" family....they have a super cute dog named Riley.....she was the best dog ever and she had the cutest pink collar. (my dog would never bet that good for a photo session) :) Anyway, we went over to Bowers Beach area and just walked around for the session. Thanks, guys! Fun-Filled 4th!!....Julie Marie Portraits, Delaware Children's Photographer

I have not been a very good blogger, but there's good reason for that......we had family in from Pittsburgh visiting, and I had decided to not schedule any sessions because I wanted to spend all of my time with them. So, needless to say, we had the best 4th of July, and now it's a little quiet, lonely and a little sad in our house today because they left bright and early this morning. Even J said after they left that it was sad to see them go. I miss hearing Miss L say ,"outside" (if you could only hear her sweet, sweet voice) and miss the sounds of the little guys having fun playing, swimming & watching Dexter run all over the house following them around b/c he thought he might miss something.

Anyway, I was really bad b/c I hardly had my camera out, but I did capture a few, so I hope you enjoy!!

Double the Fun in Ocean City....Julie Marie Portraits, Ocean City, MD Photographer

Most of you know that I have an identical twin sister, so when this mom emailed me and asked me to do photographs of her little 3.5yr old little twin guys, I couldn't wait! Meet T & T....both super cute and so much fun and boy do they look alike! You can tell them apart, but it was definitely hard remembering which one was which! :) Anyway, they were going to be vacationing in Ocean City, MD, so mom asked if I would be interested in doing photos there. She also mentioned that one of the little guys probably wouldn't look at the camera....but I think Mom will be happy with what she sees below! Thanks, guys! It was great meeting all of you and hope you enjoy your sneak peeks and the rest of your vacation!

For this last one, mom had mentioned that she would like to get some of T showing off his scars and what he had been through in his first 3.5 yrs of life......3 surgeries, but I think they're done and no more surgeries! He is one little brave guy!
